Senator Meyer moved and asked unanimous consent that the resolution be advanced to third reading and placed on final passage. Without objection, it was so ordered. CS FOR HOUSE JOINT RESOLUTION NO. 19(RES) was read the third time. The question being: "Shall CS FOR HOUSE JOINT RESOLUTION NO. 19(RES) Urging the United States Senate to ratify the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea, pass the Senate?" The roll was taken with the following result: CSHJR 19(RES) Third Reading - Final Passage YEAS: 15 NAYS: 2 EXCUSED: 1 ABSENT: 2 Yeas: Coghill, Davis, Egan, Ellis, French, Hoffman, Kookesh, McGuire, Menard, Meyer, Olson, Paskvan, Stevens, Thomas, Wielechowski Nays: Giessel, Huggins Excused: Wagoner Absent: Dyson, Stedman and so, CS FOR HOUSE JOINT RESOLUTION NO. 19(RES) passed the Senate, was signed by the President and Secretary and returned to the House.
